HAS THE TIME COME?
If you like Nia it may be time to become a White Belt, a person who consciously chooses wellness and joy in everyday life and not just for the duration of one hour of class per week.
I would like to explain a little more about what participating in the Art of Sensation Training consists of and how it can take place.
WHO IS THE TRAINING FOR?
The training is for everyone. It is aimed at all people who love Nia and would like to have a little more of what characterizes Nia: awareness, joy, freedom, music, movement, energy, serenity, self-care and above all self-love.
There are no limits of age, physical training, predisposition. Only interest and curiosity about Nia and oneself. Desire to know oneself better, to respect improper body, to ignite or reignite joy.
For me, the White Belt taught me to align body, mind, emotions and spirit.
I thought I was extremely connected to myself and knew myself, but in reality parts of me were anesthetized. I thought I was in my body but in reality I was totally in my body only at certain times in my life, for example when I was in the water.
Before I started the path I was not fully aware that when I was emotionally involved in something I often forgot the body.
Although it may feel like we are connected to ourselves, we can always find that it is possible to deepen and especially learn to recognize and welcome signals from the body that we often take for granted. Opening the door to physical sensations allows us to know, accept and love ourselves better.
WHAT IS THE TRAINING?
ART OF SENSATION explores Nia practices and philosophy in 13 body-centered principles that have been developed and tested by thousands of participants over 40 years.
This transformative experience guides you home to your body where you will discover and connect with your authentic self.
Learning to listen to the voice of your body develops body literacy and empowers you to make choices that enhance health and total well-being in your body and life.
The White Belt trains to develop body awareness, using the wisdom of the body and offers guidance toward self-healing and training.
By constantly nourishing the body with small acts of kindness and learning to keep track of “feel-good” sensations, you will become a master of the Nia approach centered on listening to the body, which is essential for maintaining health, well-being and a good level of fitness.
WHERE DOES IT TAKE PLACE?
Two in-person trainings are currently scheduled in September: one from the 1st to the 7th in Rimini and a second from the 15th to the 21st at an agritourism near Siena, in Tuscany.
The first training takes place a few miles from the center of Rimini, and participants can choose the accommodation that best suits their needs, thanks to the many hotels available in the area.

The training in Tuscany, on the other hand, takes place in a small but extremely well-maintained agriturismo, just a few kilometers from Siena. On site there is a beautiful swimming pool and the possibility of holding both indoor and outdoor sessions on a large lawn in the park in front of it. Antonella, the host and White Belt Nia, will pamper us with her delicacies.

The online courses are conducted as follows:
16 live online sessions of two hours each will be held.
All sessions are recorded and available to participants for the duration of the training.
Replay is then always available in case of inability to attend.
Participants will have a second portal available that offers insights and materials for download.
My next training will start on November 17th and end on March 1st. It will be running on Fridays from 6 to 8 pm Central European time.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The total cost of the course is $1599, which corresponds to about 1469 euros.
It is possible to make installment payments for a portion of the cost.
I know that sounds and actually is a big investment.
It depends on how you look at it.
I have never regretted investing money for my physical, mental and emotional well-being. And that’s what the training has given me.
I know that when I am well, the people around me are also well.
CAN I TEACH NIA AFTER COMPLETING THE TRAINING?
Yes, the training is necessary to be able to teach Nia.
If you wish to teach Nia you must affiliate with Nianow to obtain the materials to put the White Belt teachings into practice. Affiliation has different costs depending on personal goals and the time required to prepare for teaching. Those who decide to teach will receive plenty of online materials available, Niaondemand membership with Nia lessons and insights for teachers, marketing materials, playlists of the latest routines, s accounts on older playlists, and discounts on Nia clothing.
