    WHAT IS NIA

Dance, martial arts and mindfulness come together in Nia, a discipline that trains the body, mind and emotions. Nia was created to enhance the body's intelligence by listening to its voice, respecting its structure and functionality. This cardiovascular dance combines 52 simple movements, of varying intensity, adaptable to the peculiarities of each individual's body. Nia invites awareness of movement, brings a charge of energy, mental clarity and emotional balance. Each person, through Nia, can explore and increase their own potential to live a healthier life. Nia trains 6 sensations that keep the body balanced and healthy: Flexibility, Agility, Mobility, Strength and Stability and Stillness. The movements are organic, modifiable and adjustable depending on the type of training desired, more or less intense. Music is one of the main ingredients of each lesson. Nia is fun, effective and for everyone. It is practised barefoot.
